HISTORY
This game originates in ancient India and is said to have been created by Rishis - enlightened sages to illustrate the concepts of the cosmos and the journey of the soul. The exact time of the origin and the name of the authors are unknown, but it is estimated to be around 2000 years old. Some researchers believe it is much more ancient. Currently, about 50 versions of this game are kept in history museums and private collections worldwide. The game has had many names, forms, translations, and variations used in different cultures throughout the centuries, but the essence of it is the same in all of them.
Infinite timeless yogic knowledge of the Cosmos and the Self is contained within this game. The places on the game board represent the various planes of existence and levels of consciousness. The game board is divided into 72 squares ( triangles in this version ), each symbolizing different aspects of the multidimensional body-mind-soul system.

HOW TO PLAY
The game can be played by one or in a group with multiple players.
Players roll a dice to move across the board. The number they roll determines the square they land on, which has a specific meaning and lesson. Dice numbers are the number of steps a player takes.
Each place where the player lands is interpreted to provide insights into the player’s current life situation and spiritual progress, leading to reflection on personal behaviors, thoughts, and life patterns.
The main objective of Leela is self-knowledge. Players gain insights into their subconscious patterns and actions, understanding how these behaviors and thoughts affect their lives.
The ultimate goal is to achieve higher levels of consciousness, leading to increased happiness, well-being, more conscious decisions, and overall improvement in all areas of life.
